Short answer: Yes for eyebrows, but be careful with eyelashes. "If there is no allergic to the castor oil after testing patches, it is safe to use in the eyebrows," said Dr Hill. "There is no safety data about the castor oil and eye health, so I will be careful and talk to an ophthalmologist about applying close range oil with eyes."

How should castor oil be applied to your hair and scalp?

Even though castor oil is widely used, it is not intended for everyone. Therefore, the importance of the filling test will be played again before applying it to your scalp. "Apply a small number behind the ear or upper arm in a week," said Dr Hill.

Smooth hair until moderate: Castor oil can be used as a deep treatment to protect the tip of your hair fibre, the last 2-3-inch hair. Use it as a pre-shampoo treatment to help keep tangles. Be sure not to use the shampoo too much and the desired style.

I suggest mixing oil drops into conditioner during this hot and moist summer months.

What kind of oil is the best castor to use?

Both of our hair experts recommended cold castor oil.

"Cold adjacent castor oil can be used on a hair shaft. However, black-castor oil must be applied only to the scalp," explained Dr Hill. "If black castor oil is applied to the hair, the cuticle sealing technique must be used afterwards. Both forms will provide sufficient components of Ricinoleat Acid."
